Planning a Video Virtual Workshop

Join the UW-Madison Indigenous Food Systems Resilience Project to learn how to outline or storyboard your video. Together we’ll walk through identifying your audience and the purpose of your video, outlining what you will say, and how to pair it with video and B-roll. Bring your video idea ready to workshop!
All sessions will be recorded and links will be shared to registrants.
Editing & Captioning Virtual Workshop
November 3rd 6:00-7:00pm
Join the UW-Madison Indigenous Food Systems Resilience Project to learn the basics of editing a video in Instagram Edits or iMovie, how to add subtitles, and integrate photos. Bring your video outline, audio if you have it, and some video and photos to include.
All sessions will be recorded and links will be shared to registrants.
Video Challenge Support and Story Outline Presentation

Video Challenge participants will give a short presentation to share and seek feedback on their video outline or draft. This is intended to help you progress where you may be stuck so you can finish your video!
Open to and required for all participating in the Video Challenge.
USDA Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance for Maple Producers

Kara Klein, USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) Agricultural Program Specialist in the Risk Management Branch, joins the Maple Hour to talk about the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) and how it works for Wisconsin maple syrup producers. Kara will also touch on some FSA loan programs and other opportunities for maple producers to consider.
